Trigg minerals demonstrates high-grade Antimony continuity at WCC

Trigg Minerals has announced mineralised zones that were excluded from the maiden mineral resource (mre), which confirm high-grade Antimony continuity at the Wild Cattle Creek (“WCC”) deposit in Northern NSW.

The high-grade assays averaged 4.83% Sb (38 samples ≥1% Sb) from historical systematic back sampling of the Wild Cattle Creek adit. The assays were uncovered during a review of the WCC data room, confirming significant shallow antimony mineralisation.

The assays were included in the previous JORC 2012-compliant MRE from the historical owners but are currently excluded from Triggs restated 2024 MRE. Their omission presents clear upside potential, providing the opportunity to enhance the resource grade, scale and confidence.

Significant intersections at the primary WCC lode not currently included in Triggs 2024 MRE include:

  • 5.32m @ 6.7% Sb
  • 5.42m @ 9.6% Sb
  • 3.64m @ 7.3% Sb
  • 2m @ 12.7% Sb
  • 5m @ 3.5% Sb
  • 2m @ 9.6% Sb
  • 2m @ 9.4% Sb

Additional significant intersections in a parallel lode named “Roula” were not included in the 2024 MRE, these include:

  • 2m @ 11.57% Sb and 1.26% W
  • 2m @ 14.45% Sb and 084% W (including 1m @ 27.6% Sb)

Roula is situated 35m north of the primary WCC system. The vein extends over 100m on the westernmost sections, with very little drilling undertaken. Roula is characterised by average grades of 13% Sb and 1.03% Tungsten and remains open in all directions.

Adit mapping and sampling provide strong evidence for lode repetition along strike and sub-parallel, complementary lodes, indicating broader structural complexity and exploration upside.

Wild Cattle Creek is Australia’s highest grade primary antimony resource at 1.52Mt @ 1.97% Sb, comprising of 0.96Mt at 2.02% Sb (indicated) and 0.56Mt at 1.88% Sb (inferred), containing 29,902 tonnes of Antimony using a high 1% cut off. The deposit is Australia’s widest antimony resource with average mineralised width of 20m, exceeding the typical narrow vein-hosted Sb deposits in the region, with strong potential to significantly increase the resource.

As of 06/05/2025, the Antimony price has reached an all time high of $60,100 USD ($92,395 AUD) per MT. The current in-situ value of the Wild Cattle Creek deposit stands at A$2.762 billion, making it a valuable resource for development.

Trigg intends to update the Wild Cattle Creek resource by incorporating unmodelled data to capture additional value from tungsten and gold alongside Antimony.
