Trigg Minerals has announced the appointment of David Fourie, to further its intention to build an Antimony smelter at the premises of it’s Antimony Canyon project.

David Fourie is a world-renown metallurgist specialising in Antimony and has been appointed as Net Zero expert and technical advisor.

David boasts a wealth of experience culminating in over 25 years pyrometallurgical and project development, including as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the SPMP Antimony smelter in Oman, the largest outside of China.

He played a critical role in the design and ESG component of the Oman Smelter, widely recognised as the gold standard in Antimony smelting, for its clean plant status, for meeting stringent European environmental standards.

David is currently chief technology officer at California based MAGMEC, who specialise in extracting critical minerals from brine.
